1. Nucleus: The majority of DNA is found within the nucleus of each cell. It's organized into structures called chromosomes, which contain tightly packed DNA strands.
2. Mitochondria: A small amount of DNA is also located in the mitochondria, which are organelles responsible for energy production within cells. This mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) is separate from the nuclear DNA and is inherited only from the mother.
So, while you can't point to a single "DNA location," it's essentially spread throughout your body, within the nucleus and mitochondria of almost every cell.
