Biologists use a variety of characteristics to classify organisms, but they do NOT use astrological signs to classify organisms.

* Biological classification is based on observable, measurable, and scientifically-validated characteristics of organisms, such as:

* Physical traits: Body shape, size, structure, etc.

* Genetic makeup: DNA sequences and relatedness

* Evolutionary history: Common ancestry and relationships

* Developmental patterns: How organisms grow and develop

* Behavioral characteristics: How organisms interact with their environment and each other
