    4. Information Carriers:

    Cells need information carriers to control their activities. This includes:

    * DNA: The genetic blueprint that dictates cell function.

    * RNA: Involved in protein synthesis and other cellular processes.

    5. Appropriate Environment:

    Cells function optimally within a specific range of:

    * Temperature: Each cell type has an optimal temperature range for function.

    * pH: The acidity or alkalinity of the cell's environment must be within a narrow range.

    * Pressure: The external pressure on the cell affects its function.

    6. Other Essential Components:

    * Enzymes: Catalysts that speed up biochemical reactions within the cell.

    * Ribosomes: Cellular machinery responsible for protein synthesis.

    * Membranes: Surrounding the cell and various internal compartments, they control the movement of substances in and out of the cell.
