  • Oocytes: The Nutrient-Rich Cells of the Female Reproductive System
The cells formed in female reproductive organs that contain stored food are oocytes.

    Here's why:

    * Oocytes are the female germ cells, also known as egg cells.

    * Yolk is a nutrient-rich substance found in the cytoplasm of oocytes. This yolk provides nourishment for the developing embryo if fertilization occurs.

While other cells in the female reproductive system might contain some storage reserves, the oocytes are the primary cells with a significant amount of stored food.
