  • Respiratory and Circulatory Systems: Oxygen Delivery Explained
The two systems that carry oxygen from outside your body to the cells are:

    1. Respiratory System: This system takes in oxygen from the air you breathe and delivers it to the lungs. In the lungs, oxygen passes into tiny blood vessels called capillaries.

    2. Circulatory System: The circulatory system, specifically the blood, carries the oxygen from the lungs throughout the body to all the individual cells.

So, it's a team effort! The respiratory system gets the oxygen into the body, and the circulatory system delivers it where it needs to go.
