  • Domains of Life: Understanding the Largest Biological Classification
    The largest and most general classification group for living organisms is Domain.

    While "body" isn't a specific organism or taxonomic group, the concept of a body applies to all living things within the three domains:

    * Bacteria: Single-celled organisms without a nucleus.

    * Archaea: Single-celled organisms without a nucleus, often found in extreme environments.

    * Eukarya: Organisms with cells containing a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles. This domain includes plants, animals, fungi, and protists.

    So, even though "body" isn't a formal classification, it applies to all organisms within the three Domains.
