  • Stomach Sphincters: Understanding the Pyloric Valve
    The stomach has only one sphincter, called the pyloric sphincter.

    It's located at the bottom of the stomach, where the stomach connects to the small intestine. It controls the flow of food from the stomach into the duodenum (the first part of the small intestine).

    There is no other sphincter in the stomach.
