  • Plant Cell Nucleus: Structure, Function & Membrane Details
Yes, plant cells do have nuclear membranes.

    Here's why:

    * The nucleus is the control center of the cell. It houses the cell's DNA, which contains the genetic instructions for the cell's function.

    * The nuclear membrane (or nuclear envelope) is a double membrane that surrounds the nucleus. It acts as a barrier, separating the DNA within the nucleus from the rest of the cytoplasm.

    * The nuclear membrane also has pores. These pores allow for the passage of molecules, like RNA, between the nucleus and the cytoplasm.

So, just like animal cells, plant cells have a nucleus with a nuclear membrane to protect their genetic material.
