    4. They both can be presented with a degree of confidence: Pseudoscience often presents claims with certainty and authority, despite lacking evidence or rigorous testing.     It's important to remember that these similarities are superficial. The fundamental difference lies in the scientific method, which is the cornerstone of real science. Science is based on evidence, objectivity, testability, and a willingness to revise theories based on new findings. Pseudoscience, on the other hand, is characterized by its reliance on anecdotal evidence, confirmation bias, lack of testability, and resistance to falsification.
