  • Microscopes: What's Not a Microscope & How They Differ
Here are some non-examples of microscopes:

    * Telescope: Telescopes are used to view distant objects, not microscopic ones.

    * Binoculars: Binoculars magnify objects, but they don't achieve the level of magnification needed to see microscopic details.

    * Magnifying Glass: A magnifying glass only provides a small amount of magnification and cannot be used to view truly microscopic objects.

    * Camera: While a camera can capture images at high resolution, it doesn't use lenses to magnify objects in the way a microscope does.

    * Computer: A computer can process and display images, but it's not a physical tool for magnifying objects.

Essentially, anything that is not designed to magnify tiny objects to a level where you can see their details is a non-example of a microscope.
