    Cellular respiration is found in both plant and animal cells, but it primarily takes place in the mitochondria.

    * Plant mitochondria have different enzymes: Plant mitochondria possess a unique set of enzymes compared to animal mitochondria, allowing them to utilize different substrates for respiration.

    In summary, although both plant and animal cells utilize cellular respiration to produce energy, they have some subtle differences in their respective processes due to their different metabolic needs.
