  • Endocrine Glands and the Trachea: What You Need to Know
There are no endocrine glands located in the trachea.

The trachea is the windpipe, a part of the respiratory system responsible for carrying air to the lungs. It's lined with cartilage rings and a mucous membrane, but it doesn't contain any endocrine glands.

Endocrine glands produce hormones that are released directly into the bloodstream, and they are found in various parts of the body, such as the thyroid gland (neck), adrenal glands (above the kidneys), and pituitary gland (brain).
