  • Eukaryotic Cells: A Shared Feature of Protists, Animals, Plants & Fungi
The organisms in the kingdoms Protista, Animalia, Plantae, and Fungi are all eukaryotic.

    Here's why:

    * Eukaryotic cells have a true nucleus, which contains their genetic material (DNA), and other membrane-bound organelles.

    * Prokaryotic cells (like bacteria and archaea) lack a nucleus and other internal membrane-bound organelles.

While there are many other characteristics that distinguish these kingdoms from each other, being eukaryotic is the one feature they all share.
