  • Prokaryotic Cells: Kingdom Monera vs. Bacteria & Archaea
Organisms made of prokaryotic cells are found in the Kingdom Monera.

However, the classification of organisms is constantly evolving. The modern scientific classification has moved away from using the term "Kingdom Monera" and now places prokaryotes into two separate domains:

    * Bacteria: Includes a vast array of single-celled organisms with diverse metabolic capabilities.

    * Archaea: Includes single-celled organisms that often thrive in extreme environments like hot springs or salty lakes.

So, while "Kingdom Monera" is no longer the preferred term, you can still think of it as a broad category encompassing both Bacteria and Archaea.
