  • Understanding Cell Groups: Prokaryotes vs. Eukaryotes
There are two main groups that all cells can be put into:

    1. Prokaryotes: These are simple cells that lack a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles. They include bacteria and archaea.

    2. Eukaryotes: These are more complex cells that have a nucleus and other membrane-bound organelles. They include plants, animals, fungi, and protists.
