    The scientific method includes making observations, forming hypotheses, performing experiments, and drawing conclusions. The following do not fall under these scientific methodologies:

    1. Appeal to authority: Relying solely on the opinion of an expert or authority figure without conducting independent investigations or gathering empirical evidence.

    2. Anecdotal evidence: Drawing conclusions based on personal experiences or isolated incidents rather than systematic data collection and analysis.

    3. Confirmation bias: Seeking information that confirms pre-existing beliefs, rather than being open to evidence that may contradict these beliefs.
