  • Axial & Appendicular Skeleton: Understanding the Two Divisions
    There are two divisions of the skeletal systems, which are:

    1. Axial skeleton: This part comprises all of your body’s bones centered along a vertical axis that includes your skull, vertebral column, and thorax (rib cage and sternum).

    2. Appendicular skeleton: This part consists of all of your bones that are attached to the axial skeleton, including the limbs, limb girdles, and feet.
