  • Understanding the 3 Main Types of RNA: mRNA, tRNA, rRNA
There are three main types of RNA:

    - Messenger RNA (mRNA) carries the genetic code from DNA to the ribosome, where it is used to direct protein synthesis.

    - Transfer RNA (tRNA) molecules bring amino acids to the ribosome in the correct order, as specified by the mRNA.

    - Ribosomal RNA (rRNA) is a component of ribosomes, the structures in cells that assemble proteins.
