  • Cell Walls: Which Cells Lack Them? (Animal, Protist & Fungi)
    The cells that do not produce cell walls are:

    Animal Cells: Animal cells lack a cell wall. Instead, they are surrounded by a cell membrane.

    Protist Cells: Some protist cells, such as amoebas and paramecia, do not have cell walls.

    Fungi Cells: While most fungi have cell walls made of chitin, there are a few exceptions, such as the yeast Candida albicans, which does not have a cell wall.
