  • Ocean Depths: Exploring the Limits of Marine Life
Organisms can be found throughout the ocean, with the deepest known lifeforms found in the Mariana Trench in the Pacific Ocean. The deepest point in the trench, known as the Challenger Deep, is approximately 11,034 meters (36,201 feet) below sea level. Organisms that have been found at these depths include amphipods, sea cucumbers, jellyfish, and worms.
