  • Speed of Light in Space: UV vs. Infrared
Both ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) waves are forms of electromagnetic radiation. In a vacuum, like space, all electromagnetic radiation travels at the same speed: the speed of light (approximately 299,792,458 meters per second).

This means that UV and IR waves travel at the same speed in space, even though they have different wavelengths and frequencies.
