  • Sunlight Radiation: Understanding Visible, Infrared, and Ultraviolet Rays
The sun emits three main forms of radiation:

    1. Visible light: This is the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that our eyes can see, ranging from violet to red. It provides the light and color we experience on Earth.

    2. Infrared radiation: This is a type of electromagnetic radiation that we feel as heat. It carries more energy than visible light and is responsible for warming the Earth.

    3. Ultraviolet radiation: This is a type of electromagnetic radiation with even higher energy than visible light. It can be harmful to living organisms in high doses, causing sunburns and skin cancer.
