  • Cloud Volume: Why Clouds Don't Have a Fixed Shape - Explained
Clouds don't have a definite, fixed volume like a solid object. Here's why:

    * Constantly Changing: Clouds are made up of tiny water droplets or ice crystals suspended in the air. These droplets constantly evaporate, condense, and move around due to air currents, wind, and changes in temperature.

    * No Defined Boundaries: Clouds don't have clear edges. They blend into the surrounding air and their shape and size are constantly shifting.

    * Variable Density: The concentration of water droplets or ice crystals within a cloud can vary. Some areas might be denser, leading to a more visible part of the cloud, while other areas might be less dense and less visible.

So, while we can measure the size and shape of a cloud at a particular moment, it's important to remember that its volume is constantly changing.
