Space probes are designed to explore other celestial bodies, like planets, moons, asteroids, and comets. They are launched from Earth and travel through space to their target destination.

While there are many probes that have explored Earth's moon, Mars, Venus, and other planets, no probe has ever traveled from another celestial body back to Earth.
