  • Earth's Atmosphere: Layers and What We Call It
There isn't a specific name for the atmosphere viewed from Earth. We simply call it the atmosphere or sometimes Earth's atmosphere.

However, there are names for different layers of the atmosphere, such as:

    * Troposphere: The lowest layer where we live, containing weather.

    * Stratosphere: Contains the ozone layer.

    * Mesosphere: Protects us from meteoroids.

    * Thermosphere: Contains the International Space Station.

    * Exosphere: The outermost layer that gradually fades into space.
