The Sky at Night, the longest-running science documentary series in the world, didn't actually end. It's still going strong!

However, the original run of The Sky at Night, hosted by Sir Patrick Moore, ended on 9 April 2014, when Sir Patrick unfortunately passed away. The show continues to be produced by the BBC, with new presenters taking over the helm.

So while Sir Patrick's legacy lives on in the archive of the show, The Sky at Night remains a vibrant and informative resource for anyone interested in astronomy.
