  • Venus: The Planet Where a Day is Longer Than a Year | Space
The planet with a year shorter than its day is Venus.

    Here's why:

    * Venus's rotation is very slow: It takes Venus 243 Earth days to complete one rotation on its axis (a Venus day).

    * Venus's orbit is fast: It takes Venus 225 Earth days to orbit the Sun (a Venus year).

This means that a day on Venus is longer than a year on Venus!
