  • NASA Jupiter Missions: A History of Space Exploration
NASA has sent several missions to Jupiter over the years, including:

    Flybys:

    * Pioneer 10 (1973): The first spacecraft to fly past Jupiter.

    * Pioneer 11 (1974): The second spacecraft to fly past Jupiter.

    * Voyager 1 (1979): Conducted a flyby of Jupiter and its moons.

    * Voyager 2 (1979): Also conducted a flyby of Jupiter and its moons.

    * Ulysses (1992): A solar mission that performed a gravity assist maneuver around Jupiter.

    * New Horizons (2007): Flew by Jupiter on its way to Pluto.

    Orbiters:

    * Galileo (1995-2003): The first spacecraft to orbit Jupiter. It studied the planet's atmosphere, moons, and magnetic field.

    * Juno (2016-present): Currently orbiting Jupiter, studying its atmosphere, magnetic field, and interior.

    Probes:

    * Galileo's atmospheric probe (1995): Entered Jupiter's atmosphere to gather data.

    Future Missions:

    * Europa Clipper (2024): Will orbit Jupiter's moon Europa to investigate its potential for harboring life.

    Other Notable Missions:

    * Cassini (2004-2017): Though primarily focused on Saturn, it made several flybys of Jupiter.

Note: This list is not exhaustive, but it covers the most significant NASA missions to Jupiter.
