  • Venus: The Hottest Planet with Toxic Sulfuric Acid Clouds - Space Exploration
The planet with an atmosphere of thick poisonous clouds is Venus.

    Here's why:

    * Thick Atmosphere: Venus has an incredibly dense atmosphere, about 90 times thicker than Earth's. This dense atmosphere traps heat, leading to a runaway greenhouse effect.

    * Poisonous Clouds: These clouds are made up primarily of sulfuric acid, which is highly corrosive. They also contain other toxic chemicals like carbon dioxide and nitrogen.

    * High Temperature and Pressure: The surface temperature on Venus is an astounding 867°F (464°C), hot enough to melt lead. The atmospheric pressure is 92 times that of Earth's, equivalent to being about 900 meters (3,000 feet) underwater on Earth.

These extreme conditions make Venus an extremely hostile environment for life as we know it.
