    The sun doesn't look like anything when it's dark because the sun isn't visible when it's dark.

    Here's why:

    * Darkness is the absence of light. The sun is the primary source of light for Earth.

    * Day and Night: When the Earth rotates, different parts of the planet face the sun. The side facing the sun experiences daylight, while the opposite side is in darkness.

    So, when it's dark, the sun is still there, but it's on the other side of the Earth, shining on a different part of the planet.
