  • Gas Giants: Which Planets Are Primarily Atmosphere?
The only planet in our solar system that is mostly made of atmosphere is Jupiter.

    Here's why:

    * Gas Giants: Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune are all classified as gas giants. They are primarily composed of hydrogen and helium, with trace amounts of other elements.

    * Solid Core: While gas giants have a large atmospheric envelope, they are thought to have a small, solid core at their center.

    * Jupiter's Size: Jupiter is significantly larger than the other gas giants, with an immense atmosphere that dwarfs its solid core.

Therefore, while other gas giants have significant atmospheres, Jupiter's atmosphere is so vast that it makes up the majority of its mass.
