  • Rotation Periods of Outer Planets Compared to Earth
    None of the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune) have periods of rotation shorter than Earth. Here's why:

    * Earth's rotation period: Earth rotates once every 23 hours and 56 minutes.

    * Outer planet rotation periods:

    * Jupiter: 9 hours and 55 minutes

    * Saturn: 10 hours and 33 minutes

    * Uranus: 17 hours and 14 minutes

    * Neptune: 16 hours and 6 minutes

    As you can see, all the outer planets rotate faster than Earth, meaning they have shorter rotation periods.
