  • Star Size Comparison: Are Stars Bigger Than Earth? - Space Explored
That depends on which stars we're talking about!

    * Most stars are indeed much bigger than Earth. In fact, even the smallest stars are many times larger than our planet.

    * However, there are some stars that are smaller than Earth. These are called neutron stars and are formed after massive stars explode in a supernova. They are incredibly dense and pack the mass of our Sun into a sphere only a few miles across.

So, while most stars are bigger than Earth, there are exceptions!
