  • The Seven Stars of the Little Dipper: A Guide
The Little Dipper is made up of seven stars, which are:

    * Polaris (Alpha Ursae Minoris): The North Star, located at the end of the dipper's handle.

    * Dubhe (Beta Ursae Minoris): The second brightest star in the constellation Ursa Minor.

    * Pherkad (Gamma Ursae Minoris): The third brightest star.

    * Yildun (Delta Ursae Minoris): The fourth brightest star.

    * Zeta Ursae Minoris: Located on the dipper's bowl.

    * Eta Ursae Minoris: Located on the dipper's bowl.

    * Epsilon Ursae Minoris: Located on the dipper's bowl.

It's important to note that the Little Dipper, also known as Ursa Minor, is a constellation. While these stars are the most prominent within the constellation, Ursa Minor contains many more stars than just these seven.
