  • Do Planets Orbit the Sun? Understanding Solar System Satellites
The Sun does not have any natural satellites.

Satellites are celestial bodies that orbit a larger body. The Sun is a star, and stars do not have satellites in the same way planets do.

While there are many objects that orbit the Sun, including planets, asteroids, comets, and other smaller bodies, these are not considered satellites of the Sun.
