  • Stars: Countable or Uncountable? Understanding Noun Types
    Stars are count nouns.

    Here's why:

    * Count nouns are things that can be counted individually. You can have one star, two stars, a million stars, etc.

    * Mass nouns refer to things that are treated as a single, indivisible unit, like water, sand, or happiness. You can't count individual grains of sand or units of happiness.

Since we can clearly count individual stars, they are count nouns.
