  • Constellations Near Polaris: A Guide to the Northern Sky
There are many constellations near the North Star (Polaris). Some of the most prominent include:

    * Ursa Minor (Little Dipper): This constellation contains Polaris at the end of its handle. It is visible throughout the year in the Northern Hemisphere.

    * Ursa Major (Big Dipper): This is one of the most recognizable constellations, and its two stars at the end of the dipper's bowl point towards Polaris.

    * Cepheus: This constellation is shaped like a house, and is located to the west of Polaris.

    * Cassiopeia: This constellation is shaped like a "W" or "M", and is located to the east of Polaris.

    * Draco: This constellation is shaped like a dragon, and wraps around Ursa Minor.

    * Camelopardalis: This faint constellation is located between Ursa Major and Cassiopeia.

You can use a star chart or a planetarium app to find these constellations in the night sky.
