  • Uranus Rotation: Speed, Tilt & Unique Characteristics
    Uranus spins incredibly slowly, taking about 17 hours and 14 minutes to complete one rotation.

    This is much slower than Earth's rotation period of 24 hours. It's also interesting to note that Uranus rotates on its side, with its axis tilted at nearly 98 degrees. This unique orientation is likely the result of a collision with a massive object early in the solar system's history.
