Right Ascension is a celestial coordinate system that measures the angular distance of a celestial object eastward along the celestial equator from the vernal equinox.
Conjunction occurs when two celestial objects have the same right ascension, meaning they appear close together in the sky as seen from Earth.
Note: Conjunction does not necessarily mean the two objects are physically close to each other in space. They can be at very different distances from Earth, but their apparent positions in the sky coincide due to their shared right ascension.
