    3. Consistent Tides: The Moon's gravitational pull on Earth causes tides. When the Moon's orbit is not aligned with the ecliptic, the tidal bulge shifts slightly. This results in variations in tidal heights throughout the month. If the Moon's orbit were aligned with the ecliptic, the tidal bulge would be consistently in the same position, leading to more predictable and likely less extreme tidal differences.
