It's impossible to see the Space Needle from space with the naked eye. Here's why:

* Scale: The Space Needle is a relatively small structure compared to the vastness of the Earth. From orbit, even large cities look like tiny specks.

* Atmosphere: Earth's atmosphere distorts and scatters light, making it difficult to see small objects on the ground.

* Orbit Altitude: Astronauts orbit Earth at altitudes of roughly 250 miles. At that height, even large objects like cars are indistinguishable.

However, with:

* High-powered Telescopes: Telescopes with exceptional zoom capabilities might be able to capture an image of the Space Needle from space.

* Satellite Imagery: High-resolution satellite images can show incredible detail of Earth's surface, potentially capturing the Space Needle.

So while you won't be able to spot the Space Needle from the International Space Station, you might be able to see it with specialized equipment!
