Here's why:
* Stars are much larger and more massive than planets. They are the centers of their own solar systems, with planets orbiting them.
* The moon is a natural satellite of Earth. It orbits the Earth, not the other way around.
* Stars are incredibly far away. The closest star to our solar system is Proxima Centauri, which is about 4.24 light-years away.
So, while the moon appears to have stars around it in the night sky, these stars are actually incredibly distant objects, and they aren't orbiting our moon.
