* Service Module: This module was attached to the command module and provided power, propulsion, and other life support systems.
* Lunar Module: This module was designed to land on the moon and carry the astronauts to the lunar surface. After landing, the ascent stage of the lunar module lifted off the moon and docked with the command module.
The astronauts who flew on Apollo 11 were Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first to walk on the moon on July 20, 1969.
