  • Saturn's Light: Does It Emit or Reflect?
    Saturn reflects light.

    Here's why:

    * No internal light source: Saturn, like all planets, doesn't produce its own light. It doesn't have a nuclear fusion reaction like stars.

    * Reflecting sunlight: Saturn shines because it reflects sunlight. The planet's atmosphere, mostly composed of hydrogen and helium, scatters and reflects sunlight, making it visible to us.

Think of it like a mirror! Saturn acts like a giant, slightly yellowish mirror in space, reflecting the sun's light towards us.
