You're thinking of the Pleiades, also known as the Seven Sisters. They are a star cluster in the constellation Taurus, and although there are many more than seven stars in the cluster, seven are visible to the naked eye under good conditions.

While there are no official names for each of the seven, some of the brightest stars in the Pleiades include:

* Atlas

* Electra

* Maia

* Merope

* Taygeta

* Pleione
