  • Constellations & Star Patterns: What You Need to Know
There are no imaginary patterns on stars called anything specific. Stars themselves are individual celestial bodies, and while they can be grouped into constellations based on their apparent positions in the sky, those groupings are human-made.

    Here's why:

    * Constellations: These are groupings of stars that form recognizable patterns. They are based on the Earth's perspective and don't have any real physical connection.

    * Asterisms: Smaller groupings of stars within constellations or even across constellations that also form recognizable patterns.

So, while we can imagine patterns on stars, those patterns don't have names or specific terms associated with them.
