  • Dwarf Planets Beyond Pluto: A Comprehensive Guide
Yes, there are! Besides Pluto, the International Astronomical Union (IAU) recognizes four other dwarf planets in our solar system:

    * Ceres: The largest object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

    * Eris: A large trans-Neptunian object (TNO) located beyond Neptune.

    * Makemake: Another TNO located beyond Neptune.

    * Haumea: A very elongated and fast-rotating TNO, also located beyond Neptune.

There are many other objects in our solar system that *could* be classified as dwarf planets, but they haven't been officially confirmed yet. The IAU is constantly reviewing new discoveries and evidence.
