The direction of revolution around the Sun is counterclockwise when viewed from above the Earth's North Pole.

This means that if you were looking down on the solar system from above the North Pole, you would see all the planets, including Earth, orbiting the Sun in a counterclockwise direction.

This is also known as prograde motion.
