  • Pluto's Distance from the Sun: Understanding its Orbit
Pluto is not a planet from the Sun's perspective, but rather a dwarf planet. It's located in the Kuiper Belt, a region beyond Neptune, and is not considered to be orbiting the Sun like the eight recognized planets.

However, we can still talk about its position relative to the Sun:

    * Average distance from the Sun: Pluto's average distance from the Sun is 3.67 billion miles (5.91 billion kilometers).

    * Orbital period: Pluto takes 248 Earth years to complete one orbit around the Sun.

So, while not a planet, Pluto's position is still significant in our solar system!
