  • Venus's Slow Rotation: Why It Spins Backwards
    The planet that barely spins around its axis is Venus.

    Here's why:

    * Slow Rotation: Venus rotates incredibly slowly, taking about 243 Earth days to complete one rotation. This is much slower than Earth's 24-hour rotation.

    * Retrograde Rotation: Venus also rotates in the opposite direction to most other planets in our solar system, meaning the sun rises in the west and sets in the east.

    This slow and backward rotation is a unique characteristic of Venus and is still not fully understood by scientists.
